Land Trust Stewards Prepare For Season Of Work

Veteran and novice preserve stewards gathered March 15 to share their experience, their reasons for volunteering, and to learn what’s ahead for 2024. 

Door County Land Trust staff discussed expectations of the volunteer position and revealed new technology that will aid the stewards in their monitoring of protected lands. Representatives of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Door County Invasive Species Team stopped by to talk about their work and their partnership with the Land Trust.
