Len Villano’s Pic of the Week: Snow Storm

On Tuesday into Wednesday we had my favorite kind of snowstorm, when the snow sticks to branches and covers everything in a blanket of white. I chose this image as the pic of the week because I liked how the center tree’s branches appear like two outstretched arms wrapping around the forest. And how, even in the color version, it still appears as a black and white image except for a touch of color in the leaves that are still clinging to the small tree up front. Still hanging on after a long winter and a heavy snowfall.
