Letter to the Editor: Use Write-In to Vote for Seyfer

I am writing to let you know that my fellow school board member Wendy Minten has made some life changes and will not be available to fill the seat on the Gibraltar School Board for the upcoming three-year term. However, she will be on the ballot for the April 4th election. Her declaration of candidacy could not be undone and her plans to relocate from the Door Co. area came after her declaration. It is an uncontested election, with two seats open and two running for the positions of our Gibraltar School Board. I’m requesting that in lieu of voting for Wendy Minten, that you write in Stephen Seyfer. I know this to be Wendy Minten’s wish as well. I fully endorse Stephen Seyfer to step into the school board position with his kind and loving willingness to make choices that provide our school-age children with the best opportunities and education possible. He has dedicated his career to education and I cannot think of a better candidate to fill a position on our school board.
