Letter to the Editor: Northern Door Children’s Center Thanks Our Supportive Community

Northern Door Children’s Center, Sister Bay, is deeply grateful to everyone who made our 2019 Super Bowl-A-Thon fundraising event on March 23rd a big success.

First and foremost, we thank Penny and Paula Anschutz and the staff of the Sister Bay Bowl. Without you and your generosity, there would be no Bowl-A-Thon! We deeply appreciate the following businesses and organizations: Main Sponsor, Piggly Wiggly Sister Bay; Snack Sponsor, Nicolet National Bank; Strike Sponsors, Door County Broadband and Door County Medical Center; Lane Sponsors, Sister Bay Automotive, Baileys 57, Wilson’s Restaurant and Ice Cream Parlor, Scandinavian Lodge, Northern Grill & Pub, and Edge of Park Bicycle & Moped Rentals; Event Sponsors, Action Electric, Blue Horse Beach Café, The Cookery, Going Garbage & Recycling, and The Red Putter Mini-Golf. We had more sponsors than ever before, which is a huge win for the children and families of Northern Door Children’s Center!

Because it is a bowling event, our bowling teams and their sponsors give of their time and resources. We had a total of 21 teams this year, an all-time Bowl-A-Thon record! A BIG NDCC thank you to each and every one of you! It was a wonderful event and we hope to see everyone back again next year. A special shout-out to Scotty Weborg for his fabulous fundraising efforts and assistance with the event from start to finish. All of us at Northern Door Children’s Center recognize that our community makes it possible for us to do the work of educating young children. We wish all of you a prosperous and successful summer season.
