Andrea and Brian Hanson, Sturgeon Bay are the parents of a son born Feb. 6, 2015, at Ministry Door County Medical Center, Sturgeon Bay. Maternal grandparents are Julie and Sheldon Herbst, Sturgeon Bay, and the late Nancy Herbst. Paternal grandparents are Gary and Shelly Hanson, Sturgeon Bay.

Pamela Griese, Sturgeon Bay, is the mother of a son born Feb. 6, 2015, at Ministry Door County Medical Center, Sturgeon Bay. Maternal grandparents are Regina Prudhomme, Algoma, and Keith Griese, Green Bay. Paternal grandparent is Robert Caldwell, Milwaukee.

Maria and Adam Jacobs, Fish Creek, are the parents of a daughter born Feb. 5, 2015, at Ministry Door County Medical Center, Sturgeon Bay. Maternal grandparents are Francisco and Jussara Zeni, Curitiba, Brazil. Paternal grandparents are Peter Jacobs, Baileys Harbor and Kim Jacobs, Fish Creek.

Clyde C. Casperson

July 15, 1921 – Feb. 7, 2015

Clyde C. Casperson, 93, died Feb. 7, 2015, at Scandia Village in Sister Bay. He was born in Ellison Bay to Edwin and Julia Casperson. He graduated from Gibraltar High School and the Wisconsin Institute of Mortuary Science. He enlisted in the Navy in 1943 and served during World War II. Clyde owned Casperson Funeral Home in Sister Bay for 35 years until his retirement. He married Mila J. Bonville on March 6, 1943, and she preceded him in death March 12, 2011. Shirley Junio

April 8, 1930 – Feb. 9, 2015

Shirley Junio, 84, Maplewood, died on Feb. 9, 2015, at Anna’s House in New Franken. On Aug. 1, 1951, she married Raymond Junio. He preceded her in death on June 24, 2012. Shirley taught at Stokes, Tornado, and in the Southern Door School District. She was the bookkeeper at the Kreft Garage in Maplewood for 17 years. Funeral services will be 11 am Feb. 14 at Holy Name of Mary Church, Maplewood. Friends may call from 3 to 7 pm Friday at the Forbes Funeral Home, Sturgeon Bay, and after 10 am Saturday at the church.

Irene Helen Hazel Marshall

March 15, 1927 – Feb. 7, 2015

Irene Helen Hazel Marshall, 87, of Sturgeon Bay, died Feb. 7, 2015, at Golden Living Center-Dorchester. She was born March 15, 1927 in Egg Harbor the daughter of the late Bernhardt August and Anna Theresa (Klansky) Tanck. Irene graduated from Gibraltar High School in 1944. On July 22, 1944, she married Warner Arthur Marshall at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church. Funeral services were held Feb. 10, 2015. Leland “Lee” Johnson

July 9, 1941 – Feb. 5, 2015

Leland H. Johnson, 73, of Sturgeon Bay, formerly of Burlington, Wis., died Feb 5, 2015, at Golden Living Center-Dorchester. Lee served eight years on the Burlington Police Dept., and then joined J.W. Peters in Burlington, retiring after 27 years. Funeral services with military honors will be held at 11:30 am Tuesday, Feb. 17, at Bay View Lutheran Church, Sturgeon Bay. Neil Victor Mayville Jr.

Neil Victor Mayville Jr., 49, of Sturgeon Bay died at Golden Living Center-Dorchester on Feb. 5, 2015. He was born July 14, 1965, to Neil and Leona (Schuveiler) Mayville Sr. in Menomonee, Mich. Agnes “Jean” Alberts

Aug. 6, 1937 – Feb. 5, 2015

Agnes “Jean” Alberts, 77, of Brussels, died on Feb. 5, 2015. She was born Aug. 6, 1937, and raised in Brussels, the daughter of Gouldie and Rita (Tassoul) Engebose. She married the love of her life, Morris John Alberts, on Nov. 24, 1954. Together, they built a family, and a business, establishing Alberts Plastering in 1952. Laura Lynn Bridenhagen

July 17, 1968 – Feb. 4, 2015

Laura Lynn Bridenhagen, 46, of Whitefish Bay, Wis., died after an illness on Feb. 4, 2015. She was born on July 17, 1968, in Sturgeon Bay to Carl and Carolyn (Burback) Bridenhagen. Laura graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School in 1986. She was a kind and caring person who loved her children and animals. Memorial services will be at noon, Feb. 21, 2015, at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay. Visitation will be from 10 am until the time services at funeral home on Saturday.

Dorothy Mae Schmitz

July 5, 1925 – Feb. 4, 2015

Dorothy Mae Schmitz, 89, of Sturgeon Bay, died on Feb. 4, 2015, at Golden Living Center Dorchester. She was born on July 5, 1925, in Sturgeon Bay to Walter and Eleanor (Nelson) Hansen. On April 22, 1950, she married Raymond Schmitz. He preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 1997. Dorothy owned and operated San Dor Beauty Salon on 3rd Avenue in Sturgeon Bay for many years.
