Arieana Becker and Zackarie Clark, Sturgeon Bay, are the parents of a daughter born April 14, 2015 at Ministry Door County Medical Center, Sturgeon Bay. Maternal grandparents are Jason and Echo Becker, Sturgeon Bay. Paternal grandparents are Trudie Clark-Collman and Jamie Collman, Algoma.

Margaret “Mugsy” Elizabeth DeVault

Sept. 1, 1920 – April 21, 2015

Margaret “Mugsy” Elizabeth DeVault, 94, of Sturgeon Bay, died April 21, 2015, at the Skilled Nursing Facility at Ministry Door County Medical Center. She was born Sept. 1, 1920, in De Pere. Margaret graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School and went on to play basketball, becoming the starting guard for the area’s first women’s semi-pro basketball team, The Irish Colleens. Roger A. Johnson

March 17, 1937 – April 19, 2015

Roger A. Johnson, 78, of Sturgeon Bay, died April 19, 2015. He was born March 17, 1937, in Baileys Harbor. On June 24, 1960, he married Bonnie “Bonita” Mae Vogel. She preceded him in death on May 23, 2000. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am April 25 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm Friday at Huehns Family Life Tribute Center, Sturgeon Bay, and on the 25th from 9 to 10 am. Memorials may be made in his memory to DOOR CANcer, INC.

Wesley Vincent Gales

Aug. 26 1930 – April 19, 2015

Donald E. Steller

June 11, 1935 – April 18, 2015

Donald Edward Steller, 79, of Sister Bay, died on April 18, 2015. He was born June 11, 1935, in Milwaukee to the late Howard and Lauraine Steller of Waubeka. After college he became the third generation president of Steller’s Jewelry, Inc. Funeral services will be held at Stella Maris Parish-Sister Bay on Saturday, April 25. A.F. ‘Bud’ Schmitz

Jan. 29, 1929 – April 16, 2015

A.F. “Bud” Schmitz, 86, of Luxemburg died on April 16, 2015. He was born Jan. 29, 1929, to George and Carrie (Rose) Schmitz. Bud graduated from Algoma High and was awarded a basketball scholarship at Marquette University, but chose to stay home to work with his father in the cattle and insurance business. He later established his own company, Bud Schmitz Inc. One of the highlights of his life was singing with the Peninsula Chamber Singers at Carnegie Hall. Services were held April 20.
