Local Leaders Aim for Healthier Door County

Members of Healthy Door County 2020 came together, via a Pioneering Healthier Communities grant from the Y-USA, to create a strategy to improve nutrition and workplace wellness in Door County.

Healthy Door County 2020 has started to collaborate with the school nutrition specialists at Southern Door, Sturgeon Bay, Gibraltar and Sevastopol schools, and the intent surrounding workplace wellness efforts is to enroll 20 percent of Door County businesses in a comprehensive wellness program within the next three years.
