Bay Art Gallery has received new artwork from contemporary artist Sandra Peterson this season. Peterson is interested in a background that interposes with foreground, simulating that people are interconnected on many levels. If “mark making” is the language of painting, how can it coincidentally describe an image and space and still remain true to its basic form? Sandra is searching for the most constructive mark to communicate in its authenticity. Bay Art Gallery is located at Sister Bay Trading Company, 2477 Hwy 42 in Sister Bay.
