Neighbor to Neighbor’s Annual Meeting is Nov. 28

Neighbor to Neighbor will celebrate the organization’s achievements at their annual meeting in the basement meeting room at the Sturgeon Bay Library on Nov. 28 at 5 pm. The agenda includes: volunteer awards, program updates, agency updates and the financial report. The regular monthly board meeting will directly follow the annual meeting. In 2016, 1,582 individuals benefitted from services provided by Neighbor to Neighbor. Door County residents saved more than $400,000 in medical expenses by using the organization’s services. Also, 103 volunteers donated 3,273 hours to facilitate medical equipment loans, serve as peer companions and/or respite care providers to homebound or isolated individuals, staff the office, serve on the board of directors, and assist with special events.
