Obituary: David L. Mallien

February 23, 1957 ~ July 4, 2022

David L. Mallien died peacefully at The Home Place of Dorchester under the care of Hope Hospice on July 4, 2022. Dave was born on February 23, 1957. After graduating from Sturgeon Bay High School Dave moved to Medford, WI to work on his aunt and uncles farm. Dave truly enjoyed farming. After several years of farming Dave changed his career path and began over-the-road truck driving. Dave was an owner/operator for many years. David also enjoyed cooking, especially when he could make a mess in someone else’s kitchen.

Survivors include his wife; Sharon, son; Jason, daughter; Brandi (Brent) Fuchs, granddaughters; Kyanna and Kierra Mallien, brothers; Dan (Kerri) Mallien of Madison, Don (Jane) Mallien and Jim (Rachel) Mallien of Sturgeon Bay, sisters; Debbie Mallien of Sturgeon Bay, Cherie Nye of Greenwood, NE, and stepmother Helen Bahr of Sturgeon Bay.
Dave was preceded in death by his father; Jim Mallien, mother; Mary Nye, and infant brother Shane.

A Celebration of Life will be held at BS Bar and Catering in Medford, WI on Saturday, August 20th beginning at 2 p.m.
