Obituary: Frank Hanrahan

Frank Hanrahan, 69, of Sturgeon Bay passed away at Bellin Hospital on February 12, 2016.  He was born September 16, 1946 in Amboy, IL to Harold and Adeline Hanrahan.

Frank served his country in the U. S. Army from 1963-66. On September 7, 1968, he married Barbara Ann Hunsader in Sturgeon Bay.   He owned and operated Door County Overhead Door for 17 years.

Frank enjoyed a special relationship with his nieces and nephews.  He also enjoyed spending time with his friends, going for coffee, golfing, and traveling.  He felt very blessed to have his family so many good friends during his life.

Survivors include his wife, two sons, Mike Hanrahan (Annette Anderson), Sturgeon Bay; Todd Hanrahan (Michelle Klarkowski), DePere; a brother Ken (Arditta) Green, Port Charlotte, FL; two sisters, Sandy (Kenny) Gillenwater, Cherry Valley, IL; Vickie (Jack) Doner, Machesney Park, IL; in-laws: Bill Hunsader, Robert (Nancy) Hunsader, Paul (Patti) Hunsader, Linda Mengert (Friend John), Patti (Todd) Scherer; nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Randy and Terry; three sisters, Judy, Barb and Debbie, and parents-in-law, Robert and Marie Hunsdaer.

Funeral Services were Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Forbes Funeral Home with the Rev. Anthony Birdsall officiating. On-line condolences may be offered at forbesfuneralhome.com
