Obituary: Virginia Ann Phelan

Aug. 8, 1939 – Sept. 16, 2019 

Virginia Ann Phelan, 80, of Sister Bay, died suddenly at her home.

Virginia’s life will be honored with a mass of Christian burial celebrated at 10:30 am on Monday, Sept. 23, at Stella Maris Parish in Sister Bay, with Fr. Thomas Farrell as celebrant. Virginia will be laid to rest in St. Rosalia Cemetery beside her husband, James.

Visitation will be held at the church on Sunday, Sept. 22, from 4 pm until a time of sharing stories and memories at 7 pm. Visitation will continue at the church on Monday, 9-10:15 am.

Memorials may be given in Virginia’s name to the Door County Library.
