Open Door Bird Sanctuary Visits Memory Cafe

The Open Door Bird Sanctuary will visit the Sturgeon Bay United Methodist Church, 836 Michigan St., on June 3, 2 pm, for a program held in conjunction with the Memory Café: a social activity for those with early memory loss and their friends and family members. Anyone interested in learning more about the bird sanctuary is welcome to attend for conversation and coffee.The early memory loss support group meets before the Memory Café at 1 pm, offering those with memory loss the chance to share their experiences and giving caregivers the opportunity to connect with others.  Christine Wisniewski and Erin Szakala of Door County Medical Center lead these sessions.
