Operation Not Alone Donation

(From left) SCS Homes coordinator Shayne Fellenz presents a $1,000 check to Susan Fochs of Operation Not Alone during the Sept. 22 SCS Sunset Estates groundbreaking. It was part of S.C. Swiderski’s $30,000 giveaway to community organizations to celebrate the company’s 30th anniversary. 

Fochs said the Door County-based nonprofit organization has been helping service members, veterans and community members with mental-health initiatives for the past 10 years. 

“We have services that help everywhere from our very young Girl Scouts, all the way to our veterans who are currently in our nursing homes,” she said.
