Paint-by-Number Mural in Algoma

Yonder artists Don Krumpos and Erin LaBonte have spent the winter collaborating with students from Algoma Venture Academy on a new mural to be painted on the south wall of the Algoma Book Corner, 401 3rd St. 

Students have been part of each step of the process, from applying for grant funds to conceptualizing the mural, and they chose to get the community involved by creating a paint-by-number design. Community members of all ages are invited to help paint the mural May 19, starting at 9 am and continuing until 6 pm or it’s completed. Questions?
