Play Chess at the ADRC

Organized chess is coming to Sturgeon Bay twice monthly on the first and third Tuesdays, 10 am – 12 pm, beginning May 3. Sessions will be held at the ADRC, 916 N. 14th Ave.

Players of all levels are welcome, and free lessons for beginners will be offered. Chess boards and pieces will be provided, and registration is not required.

John Koski, a life member of the U.S. Chess Federation who teaches chess classes through Door County Learning In Retirement, will coordinate the sessions. He has also taught chess in elementary schools and is a former officer of the Lake Superior Chess Association.
