PMF Presents A Tribute to Marvin Hamlisch

The Peninsula Music Festival presents A Tribute to Marvin Hamlisch as part of the 61st season on Aug. 10 at 6:30 pm. The concert will feature music composed by Hamlisch as well as music by composers who influenced him. David Wroe will be the featured guest conductor for this concert, and Lisa Vroman and Ron Bohmer will be the vocal soloists. Emil and Gail Fischer generously sponsor this concert.

Wroe is Music Director of the New Jersey Festival Orchestra, Opera at Florham and a regular conductor at New York City Opera.

Vroman has starred for many years on Broadway, in Los Angeles and San Francisco as Christine Daae in The Phantom of the Opera, and garnered theatre critics’ awards for her portrayal.

Bohmer has a career spanning 20 years in Broadway productions. His most recent Broadway roles include Father in the revival of Ragtime and Fred in A Little Night Music.
