Recall Signature Verification Delayed

The Wisconsin Government Accountability Board expects that it will take more than the planned 60 days to review and verify the names on petitions to recall Governor Scott Walker. According to an Associated Press report, the board will have to invest in $100,000 in new software after a judge ordered a more stringent verification process. The recall election is expected to take place no earlier than June if enough of the signatures are verified.
