Rogue Theater Presents: “Double Booked”

Rogue Theater announces Double Booked, an original comedy directed by Stuart Champeau and Marcel Bruyere, will be on stage May 26-28 and June 2-4.

Rogue Theater’s production of Double Booked, a family-friendly show, is sure to bring back memories from the golden age of movies and television. With no shortage of laughs, confusion, music and fun, Double Booked will set audiences laughing right into summer.

In Double Booked, a television studio is booked for two shows at the same time; the result is chaotic comedy. It begins innocently enough at the celebrity roast of Mike McCarthy. The roast is adorned with celebrities from near and far. So far, that some have come back from the dead for this epic event. The roast is rudely interrupted when teamsters and the producer try to shut down the show and reset the stage for a talk show that’s booked at the same time. The two shows continue to vie for studio time as comedy turns to mayhem.

The cast includes Carol Jensen-Olson (Mae West), Michele Reinhardt (Joan Rivers), Chris Milton (Bea Arthur), Dan Sallinen (Bob Newhart), John-Henry Amelinckx (John Lennon), David Clowers (Sonny Bono), Lola DeVillers (Cher), Gabby Lamas (Charo), Stuart Champeau and Marcel Bruyere.

The show starts at 7:30 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 2 pm on Sunday. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Rogue Theater is located at 340 Jaycee Ct. in Sturgeon Bay. For more information, call 920.818.0816 or find Rogue Theater on Facebook.
