Rogue Theater’s Summer Children’s Theater Camp

To help bring dreams to life for children in the community, Rogue Theater has created a Children’s Theater Camp. Rogue’s dedicated performing artists will work with young people to not only develop their theater arts skills, but also to increase their creativity – a key factor in lifelong success. Students will explore creativity and build dramatic art skills. Theater games and exercises will stretch their voice, body and mind. Open scenes and improvisation will help them to embody a character, identify obstacles and work to achieve an objective through a variety of tactics.

The Children’s Theater Camp is for students ages 9-15. It will run from June 20 to July 13. Classes will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am to 2 pm at the Sturgeon Bay Jaycee Clubhouse, 340 Jaycee Court, Sturgeon Bay. The final class will be held on July 15 with a public performance by the students. This performance will be an opportunity for students to share their work with family, friends and the Rogue Theater community.

The cost is $70 for new students and $60 for returning students. For information or to register, call 920.818.0816 or email [email protected].
