Sevastopol Student Council and Gibraltar DECA Present Marsha Wilson with Thanksgiving Parade Proceeds

Sevastopol Student Council and Gibraltar DECA presented Marsha Wilson, Jacksonport resident and Fire Department member, with a check from their Thanksgiving Day Parade fundraiser and a check from the Jacksonport Fire Fighter’s Association. In addition to supporting Wilson, $1,350 of the funds raised sponsors Christmas gifts for three families in need and food cards for others. The winner of the Parade Entry Prize, sponsored by the Jacksonport Area Business Association, was the Burke Family with their Jacksonport Redneck Club float. Thanks to all who helped organize, participated in the parade, donated for the raffles, and supported the cause by feeding the buckets – they are truly “Neighbors Helping Neighbors.”
