Sgt. Connie Schuster Retires After 34-Year Career

The Door County Sheriff’s Department released the following statement on the retirement of Sgt. Connie Schuster on May 15: “Congratulations to Sgt. Connie Schuster who is retiring today after a 34-year law enforcement career. Connie was a pioneer in Door County law enforcement. She was the first female deputy hired at the Door County Sheriff’s Office. She was also the first woman promoted to sergeant in the department. Connie worked for 17 years in patrol before moving to the investigative unit. She spent the last 13 years as the sergeant who was in-charge of the investigative division. Connie has led the investigation of many complex and high-profile cases. She has been a friend and mentor for many people over the years. Congratulations Connie and good luck in your future endeavors.”
