Sharing Greco’s Space

There’s a metamorphosis happening in Greco Gallery. The collective gallery is transforming to share space with SOURCED, a new venture by member artist Katie Starr. Starr, a local vintage collector, stylist and artist, envisions the project as all about collaboration and working together to create one-of-a-kind art and home décor. The transition will allow gallery founder Kelly Avenson-Goettelman to focus on her art and portrait photography.

The artists of Greco Gallery/SOURCED are excited to announce that the gallery’s annual summer season reception, June 11, 5 – 8 pm, is also a Steel Bridge Songfest event. The public is invited to view the member artists’ work while enjoying music and refreshments in the courtyard. Local musicians Nick Hoover, Jess Holland and George Sawyn, along with other songwriters, will play guitars made by member artist Dale Kumbalek, and the Nistebox food truck will also be in attendance.

Greco Gallery/SOURCED is located at 24 N. Third Ave. in downtown Sturgeon Bay. Regular hours are 10 am to 5 pm Mondays and Thursdays, 10 am to 5:30 pm Fridays and Saturdays, and 10 am to 2 pm Sundays. For more information, call 920.743.5000 or visit grecogallerycoop.com.
