Siles Displays at G&J Glassworks

G&J Glassworks, Sturgeon Bay, now features the artwork of Door County artist Madonna Siles.

Siles is an expressionistic plein air painter who endeavors to capture the dynamic energy and light of favorite Wisconsin sights – especially Door County’s fields, flowers and shorelines – in her colorful oil pastel paintings.

Her artwork has been included in juried exhibits at the Miller Art Museum and Hardy Gallery in Door County and Rahr West Art Museum in Manitowoc. She is a member of the Water’s Edge Artists, Painters for Preservation, a northeastern Wisconsin plein air painting group.

Located at 59 S. Madison Ave., G&J Glassworks gallery showcases blown glass, fused glass and glowing stained glass creations. The public is invited to stop in 10 am to 5 pm (4 pm Saturday) Tuesday through Saturday. G&J also offers custom glass creation, repairs and restoration services.
