Sister Bay, Baileys Harbor Highway 57 Repaving Resumes May 2

Paving work on Highway 57 will resume May 2 between Baileys Harbor and Sister Bay. An eight-mile stretch of the highway will be resurfaced.

The work is expected to be completed by the end of June. The work includes paving, shouldering and pavement marking from the south County Q intersection to Canterbury Lane. The highway will remain open during the work, with flagging operations that may cause minor delays. The $4.3 million project began in September 2017 with the replacement of culvert pipes in the project limits and replacement of an existing box culvert between Ahrens (Cedar) Road and Meadow Road with a bridge structure over an unnamed tributary to Mud Lake.
