Southern Door Elementary Recognized for Behavior Expectations Implementation

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and the Wisconsin Response to Intervention Center have recognized Southern Door Elementary School for its implementation of Behavior Expectations at the Bronze Level for successfully building a schoolwide, equitable, multi-level system of supports aimed at closing achievement gaps and increasing the number of students who graduate ready for college or a career.

“We have incredibly hard-working staff and amazing students,” said Principal Cory Vandertie. “Together, we have committed ourselves to establishing and modeling our Eagle Proud, Eagle Strong schoolwide expectations, which include Stay Safe, Offer Kindness, Act Responsibly and Respect All. Through our collaborative efforts, we have established a strong foundation for supporting students and cultivating a learning environment where students can perform their very best!”
