Storeroom Boys Share Passion for Music

The Storeroom Boys, so named because they practice in a storeroom at Door County Medical Center’s Skilled Nursing Facility, present a monthly concert for residents and guests.

The group includes Pat Judy (seated), whose 52-year career as a professional drummer began at age 12; his younger brother, Mike Judy (left), a Door County pastel artist and bass player, who also joins Pat on vocals; and George Sawyn, a well-known local guitarist.

The appreciative audience on March 3 enjoyed an hour of familiar tunes ranging from the Beatles to Herbie Hancock. Despite Parkinson’s and severe arthritis, Pat hasn’t lost a lick on drums and is thrilled to be playing in public again.
