9am: Harvest Fest kicks off with a wide variety of artisans, crafters and local businesses filling Third Avenue for a fun shopping experience. Look for in-store specials, and enjoy the food and drink offerings as well. Cedar Crossing will host a festive beer garden with food, beer and other beverages.

9 am – 1 pm: Three professional chalk artists – Shelly Heath, John Soukup and Kimberly Wood – will create chalk masterpieces on the Nebraska Street pavement in front of the Door County Library and on Third Avenue in front of Door County Hardware. Children and adults of all ages are invited to participate in the Chalk the Bay community contest. Sign up for the contest, and draw on the sidewalk for a chance to win awards and prizes at the 2 pm awards ceremony at the Door County Library.
