Summertime Knitting Workshop

On June 11 and 12 at Jacksonport’s Square Rigger Galley, Carol Anderson, owner/designer of Cottage Creations Knitting Patterns, will conduct two summertime knitting workshops.

Enjoy spending the afternoon with this well-known knitting instructor on the deck at the restaurant (weather permitting), overlooking Lake Michigan while learning new knitting techniques. Held from 12:30 – 4 pm, the course on June 11 will teach participants how to knit a lacey sachet using double point needles while the course on June 12 will focus on finishing techniques for knitting. Each of the two courses will include a choice of three of Cottage Creations Pattern books ($8 value each). There are 28 patterns to select from.

Carol’s daughter, well-known Door County artist, Kari Anderson, will also be present at the workshops to help out.

The cost for each workshop is $40 and includes lunch. Register early, as space is limited to 15 individuals per class. For more information or to register contact Kari Anderson at 920.823.2078 or [email protected].
