Write On, Door County announces a special poetry workshop offered in collaboration with the Door County Land Trust, with poet Margaret Hasse. The class will be held on July 10, 9:30 am to 4 pm. In the morning, Hassee will share her work and encourage students to note their own observations during the guided hike of the White Cliff Nature Preserve in Fish Creek. Following a casual picnic lunch at Write On’s nearby property, participants will work with Hasse to write about their experience with the natural world. The workshop will offer a chance to read from drafts for the pleasure of group sharing and to receive helpful feedback. Class enrollment is limited to 16 and cost for the class is $75.
