The Viking Voice Senior Issue

Last fall a group of Gibraltar High School students decided they wanted to start a student newspaper, and here within the pages of the Pulse, eight months later, is a portion of The Viking Voice’s latest issue, which honors the seniors of Gibraltar High School.

The Pulse would like to congratulate all of the seniors for their efforts and accomplishments, as well as commending The Viking Voice’s progress in their first year.

The first issue of The Viking Voice was released in December, followed by six subsequent editions. Sam Kahr, who first broached the idea to create a new paper, served as Editor in Chief, and Gibraltar English teacher Lauren Bremer was the paper’s advisor.

Their inaugural effort earned them five awards from the Wisconsin Newspaper Association (WNA).
