The Week Ahead: Vaccinations Increase, County Board Talks Diversity, and more Door County News to Watch

The Door County Department of Public Health provided 678 vaccinations last week as supplies continue to increase. Door County has now provided a first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to 73.5% of residents 65 and older. Read more vaccine news here>>

The Door County Board of Supervisors will discuss the county’s vision of diversity and inclusion at its regular monthly meeting Tuesday morning at 9 am. The agenda also includes the appointment of Mike Orlock as the county’s Poet Laureate. Agenda here>>

Sturgeon Bay’s Parking and Traffic Committee meets Monday at 4:30 pm to discuss a proposed ATV trail on Duluth Avenue. That proposal has caused a stir among nearby property owners, who say the road isn’t the best route. Read more or view the agenda here>>
