THERMA-TRON-X, INC. to donate $2 million to enhance Sevastopol Building Referendum

THERMA-TRON-X, INC., a local manufacturing company that specializes in industrial finishing systems, water treatment and wastewater treatment systems, announced it will  donate $2 million to the Sevastopol School District to enhance the upcoming building referendum. The school will ask voters for $25.1 million to demolish old sections of the school and build new, modern classrooms and facilities Nov. 6.

The donation would improve the technology education rooms, fab labs and allow the addition of a new middle school/high school science wing. The donation is contingent on its passing. Both referendum questions – the operating question and the building question – must pass to secure the donation.

Hopefully this donation will encourage others to donate and more importantly encourage the community to get out and vote to support the referendum.”

Classroom space and function in science, art and technical education have changed significantly over the last seven decades. The new STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math)/Fab Lab spaces will be geared toward career-focused, hands-on learning programs, which require more space and flexibility to support a curriculum relevant to current and future students as well as local industries such as THERMA-TRON-X, INC.
