Three Artists, Three Different Directions

Meadows Art Gallery features the artwork of three Door County artists in October – Kim Jacobs, Bethany Kirwen and Dennis Connolly. The public is invited to see the artwork and meet the artists at a reception on Oct. 14 from 5 – 7 pm.

Jacobs, who was born and raised in Door County, is a colorist that combines the color and texture of pastel in her work. She shares an intimate knowledge of Door County, and it is reflected in her compositions.

Kirwen brings an enthusiasm for life to her work. Pastel, watercolor, acrylics, traditional art materials show up with mixed media in her artwork.

Connolly has already shared his photography with the Meadows Art Gallery, and for this show he brings his sculpture work. He studied with Bren Sibilsky.

The Meadows Art Gallery is located in the Scandia Village facility on the top of the hill going into Sister Bay.
