Try Viniyoga with Emerald Lion Alchemy

Emerald Lion Alchemy will host a viniyoga workshop Mondays, July 11-25, 8:30-9:30 am, at Studio234, 234 N. 3rd Ave. in Sturgeon Bay. Certified viniyoga teacher and yoga therapist Mary Hilliker will lead the classes, each of which features a different theme.

All are welcome to explore slow-flowing, breath-infused movement in yoga postures, guided relaxation and simple breathing practices to cultivate friendliness toward the body, curiosity toward the breath and an equanimity toward the mind and heart. Whether you are new to yoga or interested in learning more, you will be supported in adapting the practice for your body. 

Equipment is provided, or you may supply your own yoga mat. The three-week package is $40, and drop-ins are welcome (depending on space availability) for $20 per class. Advance registration at doorcountystudio234.com is recommended.

Teacher proceeds for this class will go to Heart to Heart International, a Kansas City–based not-for-profit that’s delivering medicine, medical supplies and humanitarian aid to support those affected by the Ukraine crisis.
