Unity Announces Two New Volunteer Orientation Sessions

Unity, Northeast Wisconsin’s leader in end-of-life care, announces two upcoming New Volunteer Orientation sessions for community members willing to share their time and talents. Unity’s Volunteer Services Department works with individuals on a personal basis to find a meaningful way for them to assist with a variety of supportive services that are offered to patients, families and the community. These services include, but are not limited to companion visits, patient transportation to medical appointments, sewing of memorial bears and pillows, knitting/crocheting prayer shawls, homebound patient haircuts (licensed hairdressers only), providing hospitality at Unity’s Jack and Engrid Meng Hospice Residence and office support at Unity’s administration building.

New volunteer orientation sessions are planned for March 11 and April 13 at Unity’s De Pere administrative office, 2366 Oak Ridge Circle. Interested individuals are asked to register for one of the sessions a minimum of one week prior to preferred date by contacting the Unity Volunteer Services Department at 920.338.1111 or [email protected].
