Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs Secretary John Scosos

Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs Secretary John Scosos, an Iraqi war veteran who retired at the rank of colonel after 31 years of military service, will be the speaker at a Veterans Day celebration to be held Monday, Nov. 11, at Sevastopol Schools at 10 am in the elementary school gym. There will be a lunch immediately after the ceremony for veterans and their family members.

For Washington Island, the ceremony will be held at Trueblood Performing Arts Center at 10:30 am, Nov. 11. The speaker will be Commander Steven Ellefson, United States Navy (retired).
