Volunteer Opportunities at the ADRC

The Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Door County is seeking volunteers for two programs.

The Benefit Specialist Program wants to train several volunteers to become Medicare SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Program) counselors – individuals who educate and assist with information related to Medicare. The ADRC also needs volunteers for Dementia Live, a program that gives participants a greater awareness of the challenges associated with living with dementia, as well as valuable tips and tools to improve communication and connection.
