We Are HOPE Offers Workshops for Public

Workshops offered by We Are HOPE, Inc., the organization that operates the Door County Job Center, are open to everyone and free to attend. Whether you are interested in learning basic computer skills or just want to increase your knowledge of the technology involved in your employment search, help is available. All sessions are held at the Cherry Point Mall at 1300 Egg Harbor Road, Sturgeon Bay.

Computer Skills Club meets every Tuesday, 9-10 am. This is a self-paced session that touches on different topics each week.

Job Club meets every Monday, 1-2 pm in the Learning Center. An experienced facilitator leads job seekers in a group discussion. Various rotating topics each week include employment search techniques, job opportunities, resume writing, interview skills and more.

A Click Away is held twice monthly, 10-11 am in the Learning Center. Laptops are provided or bring your own to work with an employment specialist to increase your computer knowledge.
