• The City of Sturgeon Bay and DCEDC are working with consultants Vandewalle & Associates to study the feasibility of the four seasons market as part of the redevelopment of the city’s West Side waterfront. • The Door County Sheriff’s Department is warning residents about older adults being targeted with the “grandparent scam.” The “grandparent scam” is a phone call from a person posing as a grandchild and asking for money due to some sort of incident. While no money has been lost as a result of the most recent phone calls in Door County, the Sheriff’s Department urges citizens to think carefully, check with family members, and resist the pressure to act immediately if they receive a phone call from a “relative” asking for money.
