WIAA Girls Hoops: Eagles, Clippers No. 10 Seeds

Southern Door and Sturgeon Bay have both been seeded No. 10 for their respective WIAA regional girls basketball tournaments that begin Feb. 20 at 7 pm.

The Eagles will play their Division 4 quarterfinal game at No. 7-seeded New Holstein, with the winner advancing to the semifinal Feb. 23 at 7 pm against No. 2-seeded Sheboygan Lutheran. The semifinal winner advances to the regional championship game Feb. 24 at 7 pm, with the regional’s highest remaining seed hosting the title contest.

The other half of the Division 4 regional bracket includes No. 6-seeded Algoma hosting a quarterfinal against No. 11-seeded Manitowoc Roncalli, with the winner advancing to the semifinal against No. 3-seeded Manitowoc Lutheran.

The Clippers play their Division 3 quarterfinal game Feb. 20 at 7 pm at No. 7-seeded Tomahawk, with the winner advancing to the semifinal Feb. 23 at 7 pm at No. 2-seeded Freedom. The semifinal winner advances to the regional championship game Feb. 24 at 7 pm, with the regional’s highest remaining seed hosting the title contest.

The other half of the Division 3 regional bracket includes No. 6-seeded Northland Pines hosting a quarterfinal against No. 11-seeded Clintonville, with the winner advancing to the semifinal at No. 3-seeded Oconto Falls.
