Wisconsin Historical Society Press Director Discusses Publishing

Join the Ephraim Historical Foundation (EHF) on April 14, 10 am, for a virtual History Speaks presentation featuring Kate Thompson, director of the Wisconsin Historical Society Press in Madison.

She’ll discuss challenges and opportunities in today’s publishing world, what sets the press apart, ways in which current events affect publishing and how the EHF’s status as an affiliate member of the Wisconsin Historical Society helps both organizations.

Thompson, a Door County native and Sevastopol High School graduate, has 30-plus years of experience in publishing. She leads her team in acquiring, developing and promoting books about Wisconsin history and culture for all ages.
