Blending Wood

Wood piece by Steve Taylor.

Plum Bottom Pottery and Gallery will feature stacked wood pieces created by artist Steve Taylor of Hartsfield, Texas. Taylor blends wood native to his east Texas home such as Oak, Pecan, and Black Walnut with exotic hardwoods Purple Heart and Zebra wood to create one-of-a-kind designs with no stains or paint.

“We’ve had requests for wood pieces for years and Steve’s pieces perfectly complemented both the gallery and our outdoor space,” said Chad Luberger resident artist and owner. Taylor’s work is now showing at Plum Bottom.
