Charlene Berg Wins Olde Ellison Bay Days Pie Baking Contest

Charlene Berg won first place in the Pie Baking Contest at Olde Ellison Bay Days with a chocolate bourbon pecan pie.

The fourth annual Pie Baking Contest at Olde Ellison Bay Days was a great success and winners were exceedingly happy. First prize went to Charlene Berg, owner of Gallery Ten in Gills Rock, and her chocolate bourbon pecan pie. She received a handmade pie plate from Ellison Bay Pottery.

Second place went to April Fenton, she received a pie-baking basket from The Cook Book Kitchen Store.

Kathy McCarthy, who received a gift certificate from Bea’s Ho-Made Products, won third place.
