  • Famous Chicken Dinner at Sister Bay Moravian

    On Oct. 22, Sister Bay Moravian Church will hold its Famous Chicken Dinner from 4:30 – 7 pm. Dinner includes oven-baked chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing, baby carrots, homemade rolls, dessert and beverages.

  • Dictionary Donations

    This October the Sturgeon Bay Breakfast Rotary Club will provide a dictionary for each third grade student in Door County, from the tip of Washington Island to the Southern Door Elementary School.

  • Gibraltar Fire Rescue Hosts Open House

    Gibraltar Fire Rescue is hosting its annual open house Oct. 25 from 10 am to 2 pm as Fish Creek celebrates Jack O’ Lantern Days. At 3496 County F, the fire station will be filled with multiple kids games, interactive displays by the DNR, hands-on fire safety demonstrations, fire trucks, and food provided by Alexander’s, Julie’s Park Cafe and the Sister Bay Piggly Wiggly.

  • Christ Child Society Meeting Set for Oct. 27

    Christ Child Society’s October meeting will take place on Oct. 27 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Jacksonport. Come at 12:30 pm for conversation and treats followed by the meeting.

    The Council of Catholic Women of Stella Maris Parish in Egg Harbor will have its annual potato pancake supper on Oct. 28 at Casey’s BBQ Smokehouse in Egg Harbor.

  • Limited Tickets Available for Rib Fest

    Neighbor to Neighbor Volunteer Caregivers of Door County is holding its sixth annual Rib Fest, Nov. 1, at the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club. Doors open at 4:30 pm for cash bar and silent auction, with serving from 5:30 – 7 pm or until ribs are gone.

  • Monthly PFLAG Meetings at UUF

    After a great meeting with six parents, the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Sister Bay will host regular monthly meetings of PFLAG (Parents, Friends and Family of Lesbians and Gays) on the third Thursdays of the month at 6 pm.
