On Oct. 22, Sister Bay Moravian Church will hold its Famous Chicken Dinner from 4:30 – 7 pm. Dinner includes oven-baked chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing, baby carrots, homemade rolls, dessert and beverages.

This October the Sturgeon Bay Breakfast Rotary Club will provide a dictionary for each third grade student in Door County, from the tip of Washington Island to the Southern Door Elementary School.

Gibraltar Fire Rescue is hosting its annual open house Oct. 25 from 10 am to 2 pm as Fish Creek celebrates Jack O’ Lantern Days. The Boys & Girls Club of Door County offers programs and services to promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence.

The Door County Community Foundation recently awarded the Door County Medical Center Foundation a Sustainability Grant from the health and human needs fund for the Ministry Fund program.
