Daoust Scores 50 as Eagles Down Denmark

Drew Daoust scored a game-high 50 points Monday to lead Southern Door’s boys basketball team to an 83-78 non-conference victory at Denmark.

The Eagles, who were tied 37-37 with the Vikings at halftime, also got 12 points each from Matthew Malvitz and Caden Pierre.

Denmark had four players score in double figures led by Drake Derricks with 18 points.

Southern Door, which improved to 7-4 overall and is 5-0 in the Packerland Conference, next hosts Friday’s game against conference co-leader Kewaunee.
