DCHS Enrolls in Michelson Found Animals Saving Pets Challenge

From May 2 to June 1, Door County Humane Society (DCHS) is enrolled in the Michelson Found Animals Saving Pets Challenge. This challenge has more than 500 animal welfare organizations competing to see which group can raise the most money for their organization in 30 days. All competing organizations receive the money they raise online, in addition to the chance to win $150,000 in bonus prizes. This year the organization aspires to again raise more than $100,000 and place in the top five.

During the first week of the Challenge (May 2-9), the organization that raises the most money will receive an extra $3,000 bonus prize. A few anonymous donors have pledged to match the money that DCHS raises during this first week, up to $20,000.
