Doug Forrest at Lost Moth Gallery

Texas singer/songwriter Doug Forrest returns home to Wisconsin with a suitcase full of songs to share on July 1, 7 pm at Lost Moth Gallery Concert Series.

A passion for art, music and theater has taken him on a long and winding creative path as an artist, musician and actor. Forrest said, “Of any of the creative aspects of my life, being a singer/songwriter is the core of my passion and how I most identify myself, to myself.

In 2017 he starred in the Northern Sky Theater production of Naked Radio at the Door Community Auditorium, and currently shows his art at Edgewood Orchard Galleries. Forrest released his new CD, Be Optimistic, in 2017. His CD is thirteen original songs based on “slice of life” scenarios in both Wisconsin and Texas. His music is described as singer/songwriter, Americana, alt-country with flavors of folk and blues. For more information about Forrest visit dougforreststudio.com.
