Egg Harbor Celebrates Frosty Fest New Year’s Day

The Egg Harbor Business Association (EHBA) announces this year’s Frosty Fest schedule includes Egg Harbor’s New Year’s Day parade, a one-mile Icy Fun Run and New Year’s holiday shopping specials.

The village of Egg Harbor comes to life on Jan. 1 at 1 pm for the 35th annual New Year’s Day Parade. There’s an open invitation to virtually anyone to join the parade; registration is not required. The parade lineup begins at Stella Maris Parish, on Highway 42 in downtown Egg Harbor.

Immediately following the parade will be a one-mile Icy Fun Run. The Icy Fun Run benefits the Door County YMCA. An entry fee of $15 includes a fleece ear band and hot cider at the finish line. To register for this family-friendly run, sign-up at the registration table on Jan. 1, 12 – 1 pm, at the start/finish line on the corner of Highway 42 and Harbor School Road.

New Year’s Day shopping specials will also be available at fourteen Egg Harbor businesses, including Christine’s Casuals & Classics, Cinnamon Windmill, Country Lady, Cupola House, Door County Nature Works, Dovetail Gallery & Studio, Jane’s Designs for Women, Kim’s Boutique, Liberty Square, Made in Britain, Maxwell’s House, Patricia Shoppe, Shipwrecked Brew Pub and Something Fishy.
