Family Art Day

Peninsula School of Art will hold a Family Art Day on September 19, from 10 am – 2 pm, that embraces the theme of the school’s upcoming exhibit, “Days of the Dead.” Facilitated by Jacksonport artist, Sandra Martinez, participants will create paper flowers to decorate artfully-created altars in the school’s Guenzel Gallery. The event is free and open to the public

The September Family Day is one of two that will be held during the time of the exhibit. Family Day on October 17 will explore traditional Day of the Dead mask-making and will be lead by exhibiting artists Wence Martinez and Juan Carlos Frias.
